From London and the East

  • Take the M3 West from the M25 for 35 miles.
  • At junction 8 take the A303 towards Andover.
  • After 30 miles take the A36 towards Warminster (beware a tricky junction that has two parts: ensure you follow Warminster not Salisbury).
  • Drive for 2½ miles past turns to Codford and Boyton, then turn left at the sign for Upton Lovell.
  • After 250 yards take the right fork, and after another 250 yards turn right again. The Prince Leopold is a quarter of a mile on your left.
  • [At times of heavy traffic (eg, summer Fridays) the A303 can jam up badly following the Countess Roundabout at Amesbury. Call us for an alternative route before you get there!]

From Oxford and the North or the M4

  • Follow the A34 (M4, J13) Southwards until you reach the A303 near Andover.
  • Take the A303 (Westwards) towards Andover and pick up the directions From London and the East above.

  • Follow the A303 until you reach the the A36 at Keysley Down.
  • Take the A350 Northwards for 7 miles.
  • Turn right at the roundabout onto the A36 Warminster By-pass.
  • After 4 miles follow the A36 across another roundabout towards Salisbury.
  • Drive for another 2½ miles past signs to Heytesbury and Knook, then turn right at the sign to Upton Lovell (not very obviously placed to the left of the road).
  • After 250 yards take the right fork, and after another 250 yards turn right again. The Prince Leopold is a quarter of a mile on your left.
