The Prince Leopold enjoys the archetypal setting for an English country inn - standing beside the River Wylye, looking out over the water meadows beyond, and tucked away in a quiet Wiltshire village. That said, we are only 5 miles from Warminster, 15 from Salisbury, 10 minutes off the A303...and on a good day only an hour and a half from London. Furthermore we are just 5 miles from Longleat Safari Park and Center Parcs at Longleat Forest....

Sausage O'Clock at the Leo: Every evening at 7pm the Prince Leopold offers free sausages to nibble on at the bar whilst you sup on a pint of local ale and wind down after a hard day tilling the fields (or whatever it is you do)!
At the Leo we aim to provide three things:
- delicious food, whether in our riverside restaurant, or more casually in the pub or garden
- everything you would expect from a country pub in terms of bar, beer and ambiance
- good value rooms that offer cosy and comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation
We acquired the pub in June 2010 and closed for a full refurbishment. The new elm bar opened at the end of August, and our riverside restaurant has been open for business since November. We are open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner in restaurant or bar dining room, one of the few inns in the area to do so. Our freshly redecorated bedrooms are open for Bed and Breakfast guests all year round. Don't forget to check our Special Offers, updated regularly throughout the year.
